You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown is a live-action musical comedy with music and lyrics by Clark Gesner, based on the characters created by cartoonist Charles M. Schulz in his comic strip Peanuts. It was an episode of the American TV series Hallmark Hall of Fame.

A motocross, a race of motorbikes through a series of obstacles, provides the occasion for Charlie Brown's latest attempt to win at something. He selects Linus as his pit crew and goes to a store to select a bike, and due to insufficient funds, he must settle for a tiny, run-down putt-putt. The majority of Charlie's opponents are eliminated in the race, and Charlie, wearing a makeshift helmet carved from a pumpkin, finds himself in close competition with his friend, tomboy Peppermint Patty, and the Masked Marvel (a.k.a. Snoopy, Charlie's dog).

Troubled youth Eddie McGeer, on a whim, steals a motorcycle and takes it on a short joy ride with his girlfriend Marie before they ditch it when they hear police sirens. Indeed, the police do know he stole the bike. Eddie doesn't know what to do except hang low for for while and dream about getting away from his troubles by going someplace like Acapulco with Marie. He tells his friends that they haven't seen him if anyone asks. He doesn't tell his mother what trouble he's in this time. And his social worker, knowing something is the matter, tries to get him to at least open up to him. Eddie eventually does tell his social worker, who knows that Eddie is not a bad kid but a scared one who needed to grow up far too quickly. Only Eddie can decide to take his advice to turn himself in, or continue to run, especially as Marie seems to be distancing herself further and further from him

After gorging on Charlie Brown's food, Snoopy suffers a vivid nightmare that he has been hitched up as a sled-dog in the far north. The tough conditions and tougher teammates forces him to make a startling change in character in order to survive.

When the circus comes to town, Snoopy naturally pays a visit. There he falls for a beautiful poodle performing there. He soon runs away to join it. While he quickly becomes a star performer, Charlie Brown is distraught by Snoopy's decision while Snoopy himself has to face some realities of show business himself.

Charlie is unlucky in love. After a string of failed relationships where he is told he is "too nice", his friends decide to take action. They sign him up to a number of dating websites as different people and he has to go on dates pretending to be someone else in order to learn how to 'Man up'. Charlie enters a whole new world of one night stands and begins to see what he has been missing. But will he lose who he really is, and fail to see what's right in front of him?
